oin us for the Inaugural Flyers Charities Halloween 5K Fun Run & Walk presented by Toyota on Saturday, October 27 (5K at 9:00 a.m., Fun Run & Walk at 9:45 a.m.) at the Wells Fargo Complex. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes and/or Flyers gear. Timing prizes will be awarded for top male and female runners in the 5K, along with prizes for the best costumes. The event will also feature a Family Fun Area with inflatables, face painters and pumpkin painting. Net proceeds benefit Flyers Charities, a division of Comcast-Spectacor Charities, to help support local non-profit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Registration: $35 for 5K; $25 for 1 mile Fun Run & Walk.
Registration includes runner bibs (5K bibs include timing chip) and commemorative T-shirt. All registrants will also receive special discounts at Xfinity Live!. Registration is limited. If the event is not sold out, day-of registration will be $40 for 5K and $30 for 1 mile Fun Run & Walk.
Course maps, packet pick-up schedule and additional details will be posted shortly. The 5K course will begin and end at Xfinity Live! and will take runners on a path both around and inside the Wells Fargo Complex. The one-mile Fun Run & Walk will also begin and end at Xfinity Live! through a similar course. Check back soon for the course maps for both events.
