Tri for Inclusion
Date: 2014-06-28
Race Type: Kids Triathlon
Registration is NOW open for all children and young adults. This is NOT an event for kids with disabilities, but an inclusive race for everyone ~ a race for kids of ALL abilities, including top athletes from our area who compete triathlons or want to try their first. Please join us and “try a tri!” Limited to 200 individual triathletes. Reserve your spot today!
Kids with disabilities are welcome and encouraged to sign up to compete in the swim, bike and run ~ or just one event as part of a relay team (with assistance if necessary). Limited to 100 registrants. PLEASE sign up now to guarantee your spot especially if you need us to recruit assistants or relay team members.
Kids and young adults may also register for open spots on inclusive relay teams as they become available. We will need relay team members for single events (swim, bike, or run!) to compete on a team with a child with a disability. We will also need assistants to help some of those children. Be sure to check back weekly as more spots may become available as kids with disabilities continue to form relay teams.
Please understand that all participants (athletes, assistants and chaperones ~ anyone on the race course during the race!) must register for Mikayla’s Voice Tri for Inclusion and with USA Triathlon (USAT) as this is a sanctioned event. Please read the information below and click the link to register for both with imAthlete!
Please read all category descriptions and if you are unsure which category to register for, please call or email Kim at (610) 746-2323 or kim@mikaylasvoice.org.
