NEW IN 2014 the Family Walk will offer 5 total poker card stations. At each station participants will have the option of picking up one playing card per station to make a 5 card poker hand. At the finish participants will turn in their hands for the opportunity to win prizes for top placing hands. NO TRADING CARDS! Family Walk will be a 2 mile walk with options to turn around as needed.

Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder in the U.S. – we need more teams, runners, walkers, donors and participants to join our fight. Last year we provided over 150 life enrichment opportunities and we did this all at no cost to the families that participated, as we know that the cost for caring for a loved one having autism can be substantial.  Our long term goal is to develop an Autism Resources Center of Excellence and Life Facility. This facility would be comprised of a cluster of group homes with a large recreational facility on the premises. Every 11 minutes, another family receives the devastating news that their child has an autism spectrum disorder.
