Rest assured the course will be challenging. You should be prepared for some technical trails. Expect plenty of climbing and some spine chilling descents. The Endurance race will be 6 hours. Elite/Expert race will take approximately 2:30. Sport race will take approximately 1:30-2:00. Beginner and First Timer race will take approximately 1:00. The course will be similar to past years. A finalized map will be published well before the race.
Please note that some of the expert course may go on trails NOT normally open to biking. French Creek State Park welcomes mountain bikers on designated trails (there are plenty, try red/white), please respect trail signs and stay off restricted trails. We work hard with the park to insure that any trail damage from the race is repaired. The course will be setup Friday the day before the race. Pre-riding will be allowed on the entire course Friday before the race. Camping for the weekend is welcome in our group camping area. There will be a small fee for cabins or tent camping"
